Student Policies
Student Policy Handbook
The student policy handbook is an important document that provides you with key information regarding academics, enrollment, and student policies and procedures pertinent to your Berklee education.
Complete information on these topics as well as others such as majors and minors, the academic calendar, student life, and career resources can be found under the Academics and Student Life sections of this website.
The Student Policy Handbook for Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee provides an easy reference for academic policies, procedures, and other aspects of campus life relevant to your Berklee education.
Student Code of Community Standards
We strive to create an environment that fosters safety, inclusion, and civility by promoting personal accountability, responsible citizenship, and communal respect.
Berklee endeavors to provide a living and learning environment in which students can meet their creative, artistic, and personal goals. The institution determines, publishes, and makes known its rules and regulations concerning student and organizational conduct in the Student Code of Community Standards. By enrolling at Berklee, students accept the responsibility to become fully acquainted with the institution’s regulations, to comply with the institution’s policies and authority, to respect the rights and property of others, and to recognize that student actions reflect upon the students involved as well as upon the entire Berklee community. Unfamiliarity with Berklee's policies will not exempt students from the obligation to adhere to them or from being subject to a conduct process if they fail to do so. Officially recognized student organizations are also expected to adhere to the Student Code of Community Standards.
Please refer to the Community Standards and Conflict Resolution main website for access to more information, including resources, services, and expectations.
Graduate Bulletin
The online Graduate Bulletin gathers information from across Berklee that is relevant to graduate students in all programs. Please review the information in this bulletin along with anything provided by your program director.
