Winds
Through private lessons and student ensemble courses, wind players enrolled in the Master of Music in Contemporary Performance (Production Concentration) build expertise on their instruments while exploring a wide range of styles from world music to jazz to pop. One-on-one instrumental studies will improve your skills as an improviser and help you develop a sound that is distinctly your own. At the same time, weekly ensemble studies will improve your listening and collaborative skills, giving you the experience and confidence you’ll need as a performer. Combined with coursework in music production and entrepreneurship, our master’s program is designed to help you launch a successful career in music.
