Orientation
All undergraduate study abroad students are required to attend orientation on the Valencia campus. Orientation days are full of informative and fun events and activities to help you learn about the Berklee Valencia campus, get acquainted with the city, and meet other new students. During the orientation program, students will acclimate to remote and on-campus services, foster community through engaging programming and individualized support, and build connections to the Berklee Valencia campus community.
Orientation Schedule
Student Move-in and Check-in: Monday, January 13, 2025 (all day)
Orientation Sessions & Activities: Tuesday, January 14 through Friday, January 17, 2025
Mandatory Orientation activities for all students will take place Wednesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day; students should not plan any personal travel activities for the weekend until after 6:00 p.m. on that Friday.

When You First Arrive
On the semester move-in day noted above, students should proceed directly to the Livensa Living Valencia Marina Real residence building, located at the following address in Valencia:

We recommend taking a taxi with your luggage. The cost of a taxi to the Livensa building will be about €30 from the Valencia Airport (VLC) or about €15 from the main railway and bus stations. You will check in with the front desk of the building to get your key card to access the building and your specific room. This address for the Livensa building will also be your mailing address while you are in Spain.
Approximately one month before your semester begins, you will receive an email (written in English and Spanish) from the Livensa management company about how to pay your €250 security deposit for your room. Follow the instructions provided in that email to pay your deposit online before you arrive. You may also pay it upon arrival. The deposit will be returned to you upon your departure from Valencia, provided that there is no damage to your room.
Locations, Accessibility, and Accommodations
Orientation activities will primarily take place at the Berklee Valencia campus (located at Avenida Profesor López Piñero 1, Valencia) in the City of Arts & Sciences district of Valencia. Some activities will also be held at the Livensa residence building. The distance between the campus and the residence is approximately 25 minutes' walk, or 10 minutes by bike.
