Strings

String players enrolled in our master’s degree program study a diverse repertoire of contemporary music with a strong emphasis on improvisation, stylistic flexibility, and creative expression. Through private instruction, players are encouraged to develop not only their technical abilities, but their versatility as artists and performers.

In addition to one-on-one lessons, string players participate in ensemble classes, rehearsing and performing with classmates, and learning the collaborative skills needed to thrive in the contemporary music business. This instrumental study, in combination with coursework in music production and entrepreneurship, prepares our master’s degree graduates to launch successful careers in music.

Strings Faculty

String faculty from the Master of Music in Contemporary Performance (Production Concentration) at Berklee Valencia draw upon a wealth of professional experience as soloists, orchestral players, composers, and improvisers. With their guidance, you can improve your instrumental skills, broaden your creative capabilities, and reach your goals as a professional musician.
