Alex Conde is a Spanish pianist, composer, and arranger whose music bridges jazz, classical, and Spanish traditions with a fresh and personal voice. A graduate of Berklee College of Music and the Aaron Copland Conservatory in New York, he has released six albums as a leader, with his latest, Alex Conde – El Trío (2025), highlighting his dynamic interplay with bassist Pablo Martín Caminero and drummer Michael Olivera. His career includes performances at major venues such as the Blue Note (New York), SFJAZZ Center, Noches del Botánico (Madrid), and international festivals from Panama to Tokyo.

As a collaborator, Conde has worked with jazz luminaries and flamenco greats including Arturo O’Farrill, Israel Fernández, Jorge Pardo, and Antonio Serrano, and has written orchestral works premiered by the Oakland Symphony and Miami Chamber Orchestra. He has also arranged music for the Paco de Lucía Legacy with O’Farrill’s Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra at Carnegie Hall. An experienced educator, Conde has taught at Berklee College of Music (Boston & Valencia), The New School (New York), Musikene, and Oberlin College. His work as musical director for Televisión Española and his bold, genre-crossing projects affirm his place as one of today’s most versatile voices in jazz.
