Ana Calvillo
Admissions and Scholarships Manager
Originally from the Bay Area, California, Calvillo has lived and traveled extensively in the U.S. and Europe. She began playing the violin at age 4 and double majored in music and international management. With over 15 years of experience in higher education across various institutions in the U.S., France, and Spain, Calvillo joined the Berklee Valencia team in 2012. She has a deep connection to her work and a strong commitment to making the process of entering higher education as smooth as possible for future students. She is passionate about connecting with people worldwide and witnessing their personal and artistic growth in Berklee Valencia's diverse environment.
Nadine Butov
Admissions Coordinator
Music, arts, and culture have played an integral part in Butov's life since childhood. Originally from Uzbekistan, Butov started classical piano training at 6, and it’s been a hobby ever since. As a teenager, she discovered an interest in languages and cultures, which led her to pursue a degree abroad. Interning at the admissions office during her first year of university ignited her passion for higher education. This journey has set the stage for her career, and she is excited and privileged to bring a global perspective and dedication to student success to the admissions team at Berklee Valencia.
Mari Velaz
Admissions Coordinator
Originally from Puerto Rico, Velaz joined the Valencia admissions team in 2021, bringing three years of experience in higher education advising across the U.S. and Spain. With a background in teaching English as a second language, she is passionate about supporting students from diverse backgrounds. Velaz looks forward to assisting prospective students through the application process and sharing the unique opportunities that await them at Berklee Valencia.
