Berklee Valencia Music Production Summer Program is a project-based learning experience that allows students ages 15 and up to gain experience in recording studios and live music venues. This one-week program provides students with a hands-on introduction to the strategies used by the music producers of today's industry. Sample techniques include self-production, recording and mixing a band in the studio, show production basics, and live mixing a band on stage.

What’s the program like?

Berklee Valencia's Music Production Summer Program offers students an engaging, hands-on experience in music production. Over the course of one week, participants will develop both the technical and creative skills needed to produce their own music. Whether they are interested in self-production, recording in a studio, or live sound mixing, this program provides a comprehensive introduction to all three areas. Students will learn to operate professional recording studios, mix live performances, and use cutting-edge music production technology.

Set in the vibrant cultural hub of Valencia, Spain, the program fosters collaboration among young musicians and producers from around the world. Guided by Berklee’s expert faculty, students will work in state-of-the-art facilities, including recording suites, tech labs, and live event spaces. By the end of the week, participants will have gained real-world experience in both studio and live production environments, laying the foundation for future academic or professional opportunities in music production.

The Berklee Valencia Experience

Berklee Valencia’s campus offers students access to world-class music production facilities designed to replicate professional environments. The Music Technology Complex includes cutting-edge resources such as two technology labs, five advanced recording studios—including Studio A with Dolby Atmos—and a renowned scoring stage, all designed by Walters-Storyk Design Group. Additional facilities include ensemble rooms, teaching studios, practice spaces, and instrument storage.

Students will also experience Valencia’s rich Mediterranean culture while collaborating with peers from around the world. This blend of expert instruction, hands-on learning, and cultural immersion provides a comprehensive introduction to music production for aspiring teenage producers.
