Proficiency and Placement Exams
All accepted students to the Master of Music in music production, technology, and innovation must take placement exams in engineering and Ableton, and proficiency exams in Pro Tools and Analog Audio.
Proficiency Tests in ProTools and Analog Audio:
Proficiency tests for Pro Tools and Analog Audio will be conducted in both the spring and summer. We highly encourage students to participate in the spring sessions to assess their proficiency levels, allowing them to receive an initial evaluation and providing an opportunity for improvement before the summer exams, if needed. The next exam dates are:
Pro Tools Proficiency Exams
Wednesday, May 14 (12:00–1:00 PM CET)
Wednesday, May 14 (6:00–7:00 PM CET)
Analog Audio Proficiency Exams
Tuesday, May 13 (6:00–7:00 PM CET)
Thursday, May 15 (12:00–1:00 PM CET)
Placement Tests in Engineering and Ableton
Engineering and Ableton placement exams are also scheduled to evaluate your level of experience and knowledge, helping us place you in a section that best matches your skills. These exams will be conducted in both the spring and summer.
The next Engineering Placement Exam is scheduled for Tuesday, May 13, from 4:00–5:00 PM CET.
