"One of the best memories I have from my time as a student at Berklee in Boston is how I got to meet all these students from so many countries all over the world, who brought their own musical background and culture with them. Playing music and interacting with all these young musicians was one of the most enriching experiences of my life, opening my views as an artist in many directions, and creating lifelong musical collaborations. This is something that I keep hearing now from the students that are studying at Berklee Valencia, who find on campus the means to create that synergy, meeting with future performers, engineers, or producers in an interdisciplinary environment." 

"I consider my job to be that of a guide, a compass for the students. There should be a high level of empathy, taking the time to understand where they come from and where they stand, so that I can help them discover which directions they can take with their music and give them the tools to walk these paths while preserving their uniqueness. I reflect on my passion for this craft and my experience to help them find their own voice, enjoy the discovery process, and reach their maximum potential." 

"In the process of developing our musicianship, a conscious and methodical approach to learning the language of our instrument should be combined with a creative and honest practice, keeping our ears active and our hearts warm, in order to allow our personality to be reflected in the music that we make. I work this way with my students, trying to reach our ultimate goal as educators, which is to provide them with the resources to become their own teachers."
