Berklee Valencia presents Berklee a Les Arts: Gracias a la Vida, a show inspired by Charles Gounod’s Faust and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s original novel.

In a world where time can be borrowed but never bought, this piece invites us to walk beside a person who would trade their soul for one more chance to feel young and alive. Created by Berklee Valencia students and faculty, the production conjures the shimmering ache of existence—its hungers, ecstasies, regrets, and fleeting joys.

Joining the Berklee community on and off the stage is composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and comedian Juan Andrés Ospina, who transforms a stage full of instruments into an endless playground.

With a heart as much in the soil as in the stars, the performance dances between light and shadow, between what we desire and what we truly need. This is no moral tale, but a human one—where grief and laughter are kin, shame is surrendered to clarity, and we are reminded, tenderly and irrevocably, that our only task is to live and to taste, before the final hush.

Tickets are available at Les Arts website for seven euros.

Berklee a Les Arts is a dynamic collaboration between Berklee Valencia and the Palau de Les Arts that blends music and other artistic disciplines in unique and captivating ways.
