Berklee Valencia Presents Its Ninth Annual Global Career Summit
On January 14–17, 2025, Berklee Valencia will present the ninth edition of the Berklee Global Career Summit at Museu de les Ciències of the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. The event is a four-day bootcamp that focuses on professional development and career paths through a series of keynotes, panels, workshops, and individual mentoring sessions.
Visiting experts and thought leaders from various professional backgrounds will guide attendees through today’s multifaceted global music industry. Sessions will focus on providing practical knowledge that will support the participants’ professional development, mainly in the areas of business, film scoring, production, and songwriting. The event will close with a night showcasing a DJ set at La Fábrica de Hielo in Valencia.
This year’s Global Career Summit speaker lineup includes Grammy-winning artists and accomplished executives and visionaries who will dive deeply into pivotal industry subjects. Confirmed speakers include multi-hyphenate Grammy-nominated musician, recording artist, producer, and author Divinity Roxx; Grammy-winning artist and composer Carla Patullo MM ‘13, who won the award for Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album this year; multi-gold, multi-platinum, and diamond award recipient producer and songwriter Christian Lohr; and managing director of Warner Music Africa Temi Adeniji. The full lineup is available on the summit’s website.
Current Valencia graduate students are directly enrolled in the Career Summit. Tickets for other Berklee students, alumni, and external attendees are available on the event's website. Those who purchase their tickets in groups of four can benefit from a 25% discount.
The program will be filled with activities, such as keynotes and talks with more than 20 industry experts and more than 10 hands-on career workshops at the basic, advanced, and expert levels. In addition, invaluable networking opportunities with speakers and Berklee Valencia’s students, staff, and faculty will be available, as well as the possibility to apply for an individual mentoring session with an industry expert.
