Berklee a Les Arts presents Larger Than Life, a night celebrating film music and its power to elevate stories into legends.
Larger Than Life is the latest installment in Berklee Valencia’s collaborative concert series with the Palau de Les Arts. This show will draw thematic inspiration from the Palau de Les Arts’ production of George Frideric Handel’s epic opera about Julius Caesar and Cleopatra, Giulio Cesare in Egitto.
Featuring more than 20 performers including vocalists, actors, dancers, and orchestral instrumentalists, Berklee a Les Arts’ Larger Than Life is a collection of film music from such classics as The Last Emperor, Frida, Braveheart, and Chariots of Fire. The production brings to life 12 iconic historical figures through an immersive, multidisciplinary performance, taking us on a journey to explore music’s extraordinary power to transform the everyday into the eternal, stories into legends, and the mortal into myth.
Tickets are available at Les Arts website for seven euros.
