Valencia, April 7, 2025 - Berklee Valencia and the Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània are coming together for the sixth edition of INOCON, which will take place on Saturday, April 12, at 3:00 p.m. in the headquarters of the Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana. The event, free of charge until capacity is reached, will showcase innovation and creativity within the music industry and will be a hub for aspiring musicians, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals.
Highlights include an interview and interactive workshop with violinist, educator, and orchestral conductor Suzie Collier, as well as singing and songwriting workshops, performances, and audiovisual installations by Berklee students. Attendees can then enjoy INOCONCERT, a multidisciplinary concert where master's students will present their innovative and collaborative projects. The event will conclude with a silent disco in the Sala Refectori, starting at 9:30 p.m.
Nicolás Bugeda, managing director of the Consorci de Museus, stated, “The Centre del Carme, in keeping with its commitment to supporting young creators, is once again renewing its annual collaboration with Berklee Valencia in an event that brings together education and musical encounters, and allows the public to experience the excellence offered by one of the top international music schools.”
“We are excited to return to the Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània for INOCON this year," added Simone Pilon, Berklee Valencia’s executive director. "This is an exciting event where our students have the opportunity to showcase their own projects, merging music and new technologies. We are particularly pleased to welcome Suzie Collier, musician and educator, as our featured artist at this event.”
With the theme “Tothom Pot Música: Anyone Can Music,” INOCON 2025 will be an exploration of accessibility, creativity, and innovation. Attendees will be able to actively participate in activities aimed at demonstrating that music can be created and experienced by all—regardless of background, skill level, or experience.
Collier, this year's special guest and featured artist, is a violinist, educator, and internationally sought-after conductor. She is celebrated for her ability to inspire audiences and students worldwide, through masterclasses, creativity retreats, and her podcast “Suzie Explores.” After spending three decades conducting the Chamber Orchestra at the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department, Collier recently led the Britten Sinfonia. She also collaborates frequently as a conductor and violinist with her son and seven-time Grammy winner Jacob Collier.
Those unable to attend in person will be able to follow the event live, through Berklee Valencia's YouTube channel. For more information, please visit inoconmusic.com.
