Berklee Valencia Opens Applications for Valencian Student Scholarship Program
Berklee Valencia has opened a new round of its scholarship program for Valencian students who have been admitted to one of the college’s graduate programs for the 2024–2025 academic year. The deadline for submitting applications is Monday, April 15. Read the terms and conditions for the new call.
Ten students from the Valencian community have benefited from these scholarships since the
beginning of the program, allowing them to study toward a master's degree at one of the premier musical institutions in the world. In the previous round, the scholarships were awarded to four students who are currently enrolled in the contemporary performance (production concentration), music production, technology, and innovation, and scoring for film, television, and video games programs.
This scholarship program is part of the collaboration between Berklee and the Ciutat de les
Arts i les Ciències, which came about through an agreement signed in 2020, and by which Berklee Valencia ratified its presence in the city. The program reaffirms the college’s clear commitment to promoting Valencian talent as well as contributing to the social, cultural, and musical fabric of the region. The Fundació Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía joined this agreement through the scholarship program’s monitoring commission.
The agreement’s monitoring committee includes representatives from the three institutions. Scholarship funds are allocated based on artistic, academic, and professional accomplishments as well as the financial resources of the candidates.
Berklee Valencia welcomes students from all over the world who move to the city to complete their education. So far, 51 students from Valencia have attended Berklee's Valencia campus.
