Commencement Concerts 2026

Celebrate the culmination of Berklee Valencia’s academic year with two outstanding commencement concerts, both of which feature students from the contemporary performance (production concentration) program.

These performances highlight original student compositions alongside interpretations of iconic works spanning diverse genres, reflecting the creativity, versatility, and artistic voice of the graduating class. Each concert offers a unique musical journey blending jazz, pop, Latin, soul, funk, gospel, and contemporary instrumental music.

Set 1: 5:30 p.m.

This program includes original student compositions alongside selected works by Jorge Drexler, the X, Richard Galliano, and Peter Gabriel. The repertoire blends singer-songwriter sensibilities, indie pop textures, jazz-influenced improvisation, and cinematic rock soundscapes.

Set 2: 8:30 p.m.

The second performance showcases original student works complemented by music from the Brecker Brothers, Esperanza Spalding, Kneebody, Kirk Franklin, Pat Metheny, and Heather Small. Expect a vibrant mix of jazz fusion, funk, neo-soul, contemporary gospel, and modern jazz expression.

Tickets will be required to enter the venue. Tickets for the general audience will be free and available at the campus entrance from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, until they are sold out. Each person is eligible for two tickets.
