Berklee Valencia has once again been recognized by Billboard as one of the best music business schools in the world, marking the fifth time that the campus has appeared on the list.
In the article, Billboard spotlights Berklee Valencia’s Master of Arts in Global Entertainment and Music Business program, which, it says, “helps graduate-level students gain a competitive advantage in the music industry [through] networking and experiential learning opportunities and an elective-based curriculum that empowers students to curate their own learning experience.” That focus on experiential learning is reflected in Berklee Valencia’s Publishing and Music Supervision course and its collaboration with the Spanish-Speaking Music Supervision Association, which connects students with industry experts who mentor them through real-world projects.
The publication also highlights the more than 50 high-level industry guest speakers who join the program to share their expertise and insights with students throughout the academic year—including Yvette Noel-Schure, founder of Schure Media Group and publicist for Beyoncé, and Marie-Anne Robert, head of Sony Music France—as well as the Berklee Global Career Summit, a four-day event that will celebrate its 10th anniversary January 13–16, 2026.
A separate entry on the list for Berklee College of Music features two undergraduate programs—the BM in Music Business/Management and the BA in Music Industry Leadership and Innovation—as well as BPMI Live, the flagship program of the Berklee Popular Music Institute, which offers a yearlong experience in which students scout, develop, and tour with emerging artists at the industry’s largest music festivals. Earlier this summer, Valencia students traveled to England with the band Park National, in collaboration with BPMI, gaining hands-on experience in tour management, production, and marketing that deepened their understanding of the live music industry.
Schools appearing in the 2025 ranking, ordered alphabetically, were chosen based on executive recommendations, alumni information provided by honorees from Billboard’s multiple power lists, information requested from each school, and a decade of reporting on these programs.
In addition to the global entertainment and music business program, Berklee Valencia offers unique training opportunities in the fields of contemporary performance (production concentration), music production, technology, and innovation, and scoring for film, television, and video games, as well as study abroad opportunities for undergraduate students and summer programs. The International Career Center on campus offers a wide range of internships and job opportunities within the industry, along with guidance to help students achieve their career goals.
