How to Update Your U.S. Mobile Phone Number
The standard U.S. telephone number is 10 digits, e.g. (555) 555-1234. The first three digits are the "area code," which, in the past, indicated in what part of the country the phone was located. You do not need to enter the country code.

Enter your full street address, including an apartment number (if applicable) and the ZIP code. Use the United States Postal Service (USPS) ZIP Code Lookup tool to check that you are formatting your address correctly.
