Rethink Music Valencia

The Rethink Music program, created by Berklee College of Music and Midem, recently hosted the first-ever Rethink Music Valencia event. The one-day workshop focused on soliciting and testing new business models for the music industry. The day began with a keynote address from Panos Panay, founder and CEO of Sonicbids. A panel discussion titled “Visions for the Future” included several music executives: Ventura Barba, co-founder and chairman of Tenzing Media; Laurence Le Ny, director of music and cultural partnerships for Orange; Peter Jenner, consultant for the World Intellectual Property Organization; Paul Sonkamble, head of innovation for EMI Nordic; and Marc Marot, chairman of Crown Talent and Media Group.
