Legendary Bass Player Eddie Gomez in Concert

ValenciaLegendary Puerto Rican jazz bass player and Grammy Award winner Eddie Gomez performs a concert to celebrate his receipt of the first-ever honorary doctor of music degree awarded by Berklee College of Music from its international campus in Valencia.

A world-renowned bassist, Gomez has been on the cutting edge of music for more than four decades. His impressive resume includes performances with jazz giants such as Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Bill Evans, Gerry Mulligan and Benny Goodman. His unique sound and style can be heard on many Grammy-winning records as well as on hundreds of recordings spanning the worlds of jazz, classical, Latin jazz, R&B, and contemporary pop music.

This celebratory concert will feature Gomez performing alongside Berklee students and faculty from Boston and Valencia such as Matt Marvuglio, Marco Pignataro, Steve Bailey, Dave Fiuczynski, and Victor Mendoza. Marvuglio and Mendoza will produce the concert.
