Berklee Valencia is collaborating with the City of Arts and Sciences to promote free, high-quality music around the city. This event, Un Lago de Conciertos, features Monár and Robert Lee Trio and will take place on Friday, May 28, at 8:00 p.m.

Monár is an artist, songwriter, and producer from Mexico who is currently based in Spain. Her music mixes tropical beach vibes, warm rhythms, and fun melodies. She used recycled plastic from the ocean to record signature sounds, and created a waste-based percussion instrument called the Trashpad.

Robert Lee is a bassist, composer, and improviser from Toronto, Canada. His music takes inspiration from Korean folklore, is based in the jazz idiom, and is informed by musical styles and genres from around the world.
