On Wednesday, June 26, Sergio Martinez, a percussionist, arranger, composer, and ensemble instructor in the Master of Music in Contemporary Performance (Production Concentration) program at Berklee’s campus in Valencia, Spain, will perform at Sala Beethoven as part of the Festival Internacional de Percusión Tamborimba in Cali, Colombia.

Martinez will present an original repertoire, mixing flamenco and jazz while exploring folkloric Colombian rhythms.

This concert is part of the Foco Cultura España Colombia, in collaboration with Fundación Colombiana Arte sin Fronteras, which organizes 12 concerts annually—three each season—to promote Spanish music for Colombian audiences.
