Ricardo Osorno Quartet at Veles e Vents

On Sunday, November 10 at 8:00 p.m., Ricardo Osorno M.M. ’18 presents Introspección, his first album as a bandleader with original compositions, at Veles e Vents in Valencia.  

The album is a journey of introspection and a constant search of Osorno’s sound, framed in the cultural and musical diversity of Valencia. Introspección is full of intricate rhythms and colorful textures—a byproduct of the various experiences and musical contexts of band members.

The lineup features Osorno (double bass), Joshua Wheatley (piano), Timotej Kotnik (trumpet), Joe Sturges M.M. ’19 (drums). Guest artists are Aliya Cycon M.M. ’19 (oud) and Carolina Araoz M.M. ’19 (saxophone).
