Berklee graduate students Felipe Saalfeld and Jacopo Mezzanotti present the symphonic concert 'Jazz Para el Autismo' that will take place on May 26th at the Espai Rambleta Theatre in Valencia.
This Jazz concert has been arranged by Jacopo for a 40 piece orchestra that combines a classical orchestra and a Big Band, similar to the "Metropole Orkest" in Holland.
The event also includes a special collaboration by Berklee faculty members Constantino Martínez Orts, who will be conducting the orchestra, and Polo Ortí who will be performing on piano as a special guest.
"As musicians, we feel that our social role is very important. All the money raised will go to the institution "Música para el Autismo" in Valencia, who work on music based therapies for children with autism." says Felipe.
You can support this initiative contributing to their crowdfunding.
This event is a cross collaboration between Felipe Saalfeld, from the global entertainment and music business graduate program, who is in charge of the production and promotion, and Jacopo Mezzanotti, from the contemporary performance graduate program, who is the artistic director.
Tickets for the concert can be purchased here, and also contacting Felipe Saalfed (fsaalfeldbecerra@berklee.edu) and Jordi Ardit (director of 'Música para el Autismo') at jazzparaelautismo@mua.org.es
