Berklee Master's student, vocalist and guitarist Emily Newton will be performing live under the artist name Emalyon. Emily is a singer-songwriter from the farm country of Ohio. After studying visual art and electronic music production in her undergraduate studies, Emily moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to begin working in music production and continue focusing on her own music. This year, Emily is pursuing her Master's degree in Music Technology Innovation, and as an artist, continues to merge Americana folk music with electronic sounds.
