Berklee Valencia partners with Fundación Bancaja, Conservatorio Superior de Música Joaquín Rodrigo of Valencia, Fundación Eutherpe and Pavasal for Concerts a la Fundació, a series of concerts taking place every Friday evening at 8 p.m. from October 2017 to April 2018.
The initiative focuses on supporting students and artists currently studying music in Valencia by providing a platform on which to feature their artistry.
The concert Songwriters Night will focus on the art of songwriting in a more intimate and open setting. The performance will feature all original material written and performed by these five talented women, and will serve to showcase the diversity and range of storytelling that is possible within the world of songwriting.

Shaudi Bianca Vahdat
Shaudi Bianca Vahdat is a musician and theatre artist exploring story-driven songwriting informed by diverse influences including jazz, musical theatre, classical, and American and Iranian folk. Naomi Westwater
Naomi Westwater is an Indie singer-songwriter, producer, and witchy woman from Boston, MA. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Music for Contemporary Performance at Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain. Her album Huntress is coming out on Disrupción Records in June. Sarah Martinson
Sarah Martinson is an aspiring artist whose love of teaching and trumpet have pushed her to be the musician she is today. Sarah is excited to be at Berklee and to start her next journey as a performing artist as a singer. She grew up in Alaska, where she taught music for many years and is an avid lover of animals and all things outdoors.
Carol Mag
Carol Mag is a singer/songwriter. She loves art and its wonderful power of expression. She loves the liberating process of writing and sharing her most inner-thoughts through performance. She wants to inspire people and, in turn, be inspired by them.
Nan Macmillan
Nan Macmillan is an American folk singer-songwriter and guitarist from Virginia. She is currently completing her Master's in Contemporary Performance (Production Concentration) at Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain. While abroad, she has performed for a variety of audiences, from small coffee shops to venues as large as the National Auditorium of Music in Madrid. She plans to move to Nashville, Tennessee afterwards to pursue performance and recording opportunities there.
