Berklee Alumnus Gonzalo Eyzaguirre and his band, La Colectiva Corazón, will play a 90 minute set for the 25th annual Biarritz Latin American Film Festival, taking place in France at the end of the month. The event has the support of the Chilean Arts council, who helped fund the roll-out of the festival.
Eyzaguirre's participation in the festival stems from his involvement at the EXIB Festival in Evora, Portugal last May, 2015, and the event was facilitated by Berklee.
La Colectiva Corazón will play their album Viajero, a project originally recorded using Berklee's Scoring Stage studio and engineered by Ian Kagey and Luke Dennis. The collaboration of the album involved 28 Berklee student musicians from around the world.
In preparation for the festival, Eyzaguirre, along with fellow Berklee alumni Timotej Kotnik and Travis Smilen, will be in Valencia from the 23 until the 27 of September for rehearsals.
The rehearsals are open to students who are interested in sitting in on the sessions.
