The 140th International AES Convention —Europe’s largest gathering of audio professionals from around the globe— is slated for June 4-7 at Paris’ Palais des Congrès. From cutting edge research to fundamentals to practical application, the four-day technical program brings the opportunity to network with and learn from leading audio industry luminaries. Special events —including technical tours of premier production facilities and installs, student focused sessions and a 3 day manufacturer exposition— round out the Convention.

A group of students will join both staff and faculty members of Berklee College of Music's campus in Valencia who will be attending the event:

Liz Teutsch, Director of Academic Technology / Associate Professor at Berklee Valencia Campus
Liz Teutsch is currently the AES Vice President for Southern Europe. She'll also be serving as a judge in the Student Recording Competition in Category 4, Sound for Visual Media.

Ian Kagey, Chief Engineer / Assistant Professor at Berklee Valencia Campus
Ian Kagey will be serving as a judge in the Student Recording Competition, Category 3, Modern. He will also be serving as a judge in the Student Recording Competition in Category 3, Modern Studio Recording & Electronic Music. He will also be a critic for Student Recording Critique sessions.
