Berklee Valencia Resumes Classes Through a Hybrid Academic Model and Welcomes Over 120 Students from 30 Countries

COVID protocols on Berklee Valencia campus

Last week, Berklee’s campus in Valencia, Spain, began its fall semester by welcoming 122 students from 30 countries, including the United States, China, India, Jamaica, Jordan, Ghana, Lebanon, Russia, and Armenia; and 12 students from Spain, including five from the Valencian Community. The campus resumes its classes through a hybrid academic model that combines in-person learning with dynamic remote coursework.

In addition, 495 undergraduate students from 57 countries enrolled at Berklee’s Boston campus will receive an opportunity to study remotely with Berklee Valencia faculty.

Berklee Valencia has established a list of measures that minimize the potential spread of COVID-19 so that students can progress toward their personal, academic, and career goals in a safe and flexible environment.

If current circumstances allow it, Berklee Valencia will offer a wide array of free concerts, including the Un Lago de Conciertos series and Musaico Festival, as part of the Música en Abierto con Berklee program, a collaboration with the City of Arts and Sciences; Concerts a la Fundació, in conjunction with Fundación Bancaja; and the innovative Discover-i and Sinestesia concerts. The campus will also be part of Berklee a Les Arts, a series of concerts within the Les Arts program.

With its unique curriculum, International Career Center, and an ambitious scholarship program that has awarded $1.1 million to graduate students this year, Berklee Valencia offers graduate programs in music production, technology, and innovation; contemporary performance (production concentration); scoring for film, television, and video games, and global entertainment and music business

Berklee Valencia is designed for globally minded students who want to pursue international careers in a variety of contemporary fields. Located in the iconic City of Arts and Sciences, the pioneering campus provides its students with the environment, facilities, and faculty expertise to help them develop their skills and find success as future professionals and leaders in the music and entertainment industries.
