Berklee Valencia Campus Commencement Concert: ‘La Nit de Berklee’

Berklee's Valencia, Spain, graduate program class of 2016 will graduate on July 11. To commemorate this, students from all four master’s degree programs at the Valencia campus will put on a special concert on July 9, from a floating stage opposite the emblematic Hemisfèric in the City of Arts and Sciences.

Twelve bands composed of graduating students will perform on the floating stage in the middle of the enclosure’s artificial lake. The performance will constitute a culmination of their work in the program this year and will be streamed live on this link starting at 10:00 p.m. (GEMT+2), and attendance will be free.

The commencement concert this year will include, in alphabetical order, the following acts:

  • "Captain" (M. Moelker) - ensemble led by Merel Moelker
  • "Chorinho" (Lyle Mays) - trio led by Judy Shin
  • "Faith" (original - S. Hodges) - ensemble led by Sarah Hodges
  • "Givin' em what they love" (Janelle Monáe) - ensemble led by Queade Dweh
  • "Jacob's Ladder" (D. Peck) - Ensemble led by Dylan Peck
  • "Let it be" (P. McCartney, arr. B. Watson) - ensemble led by Brail Watson
  • "Maturity" (R. Liberman) - ensemble led by Rebecca Liberman
  • "Medi" (O. Mok) - ensemble led by Olivia Mok
  • "One last cigarette" (P. Fuxova)- ensemble led by Patris Fuxova
  • "Tu sonrisa mi sonido" (D. Minguillón) - ensemble led by David Minguillón
  • "Thank You" (Bozy II Men, arr. Zalmijn) - Berklee Valencia vocal ensemble
  • Grand Finale
