Berklee Students Perform at the Tennis Tournament – Valencia Open 500

At the Valencia 500 tournament’s final ceremony, a group of Berklee students performed an original arrangement of the well-known tune by Tina Turner, “Simply the Best.” Vocalist Daniel Omphroy, a master's degree student in global entertainment and music business program at Berklee's Valencia campus, won the competition that took place at Berklee to select the performer for this prestigious event. Joining him on stage were classmates Alexey León Reyes on saxophone, and Cassandra Allen and Jana Šušteršič on background vocals.

Berklee staff and students also performed a batucada on the streets, recreating the Brazilian beat.
