While in town on his Prometo world tour, 10-time Latin Grammy nominee Pablo Alborán paid a special surprise visit on May 24, 2019, to Berklee’s campus in Valencia, Spain. Alborán, who previously visited campus in 2012, sat down to talk with students from the Master of Music in Contemporary Performance (Production Concentration) program. Several students shared aspects of their culminating experience projects, along with the musical journeys that have led them to where they are today. Berklee Study Abroad alumnus Franco Tortolani (voice), along with current graduate students Eve Matin (harp), Luis Villalobos (violin), Kei Riggins Wallace (voice), Carolina Araoz (saxophone), Joe Sturges Gomez (percussion), and German Scheufler (bass), performed a selection of Alborán’s hit songs before the singer himself gave a short private performance.
