Campus Facilities

Music Technology Complex

Acoustic Design by Walters-Storyk Design Group

Designed by Walters-Storyk Design Group in collaboration with Berklee faculty and staff, these facilities provide students with world-class resources for recording, production, and music technology.

Walters-Storyk Design Group has designed studios for artists and organizations such as Alicia Keys, Bob Marley, Bruce Springsteen, Celine Dion, Jay-Z, and Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Every aspect of the technology complex is geared toward preparing you to meet the challenges of the evolving music industry environment.

Aula Magna

Located in Classroom 127, Aula Magna is the largest instructional and event space on campus, with a seating capacity exceeding 100 students. Its retractable seating system allows the room to be reconfigured easily, transforming from a lecture hall into an open venue suitable for musical performances and live recordings.

The venue is equipped with professional-grade technologies, including a large-format LED wall display, stage lighting infrastructure, a three-camera streaming system, and a hyper-realistic L-ISA immersive sound system. At the time, Aula Magna emerges as the first L-ISA Auditorium in Spain, positioning Berklee Valencia as a pioneer among educational institutions in the implementation of this advanced audio system. These features collectively make Aula Magna one of the most versatile and technically sophisticated spaces on campus.

The room has been designed to accommodate users with varying levels of technical proficiency. To this end, it incorporates three independent control centers, each offering distinct levels of automation and preset functionality. This design allows operators to engage with the system according to their experience and technical expertise, supporting both instructional and professional-level applications.

At the end of Fall 2025, the room will become available for student-led activities and may be reserved by any student on campus during designated hours through the intranet room booking system.
