Tuition and Related Costs for Study Abroad

Required charges are billed directly to you on your tuition statement. Indirect costs are an estimate of travel and living costs and vary depending on each student's situation and preferences.

The following fees correspond to the 2024–2025 academic year.

Student Health Insurance Plan 
Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee students must accept enrollment in Berklee's Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) or submit a waiver request indicating comparable coverage, even while studying abroad. Students from other schools must meet the health insurance requirement of their home institution. See Health and Travel Insurance for more information.

Housing  (per semester)

 

Housing is required for all students. Students will be assigned to a double or single room. Meals are not included. Learn more about housing.

Indirect Costs

Livensa Security Deposit
Please note that, due to a recent update in the terms and conditions of Livensa Living Marina Real, students are required to submit a €250 security deposit to Livensa Living directly, prior to their arrival in Valencia. Information on how to submit this security deposit will be provided by the residence management team directly to students once rooming assignments have been notified to you. This security deposit should be refunded in full to students during the checkout process of the designated room at the end of their stay at the residence hall, with the exception of instances where the student is found to be responsible for damages to the room, related objects, or any of the common spaces of the residence hall. The costs of these damages will be deducted from the security deposit as needed.

Tuition Insurance

Berklee students may purchase a customizable tuition insurance policy, which provides reimbursement of all insured tuition, room and board, and some fees. Coverage includes withdrawal due to illness, injury, mental health issues and other reasons. Visit the Tuition Insurance page to learn more.
